Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC) is a hospital-based laboratory in Beirut, Lebanon that performs approximately 500,000 tests per year with volumes increasing 17% per year. The laboratory sought a new diagnostic solution that would enable a strong and resilient ogranizational culture, introduce new services and optimize existing capabilities, and provide the highest possible quality of care. After applying Total Value of Ownership principles selected Abbott's total solution including Alinity ci-series to support efficient sustainable growth. Following implementation, the laboratory realized improvements in staff utilization which supported the reduction of overtime expenditures by 70%.
