Lab Toledo is the largest laboratory in the Caribbean, performing over nine million tests annually. The laboratory set a goal of driving operational excellence initiatives to better serve the growing customer base in the Caribbean while attracting and retaining their high performing staff. An on-time installation and implementation of Abbott's systems enabled the laboratory to quickly realize measurable improvements, such as a 30% improvement in ease of use based on staff surveys. Additionally, the operational improvements and resource optimization supported the lab to onboard an additional 100 clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
